Quinne Brown plays Klaradyn in "Ouma se slim kind", the first Afrikaans full length film in a decade. Kareltjie, a six-year-old mentally handicapped child finds himself and his pet piglet Poppie orphaned in a tragic accident. Fate delivers him into the hands of a young black boy Fan Jan and a caring old white lady, Ouma. They develop into an unconventional family unit. A government order forces all white children to attend school regardless of their mental or physical disability. Kareltjie is now thrust into the harsh and unforgiving real world.
